aka my blog. Sorry about that, I just haven't been all too interesting lately. Summer is ticking to an end and on Monday I start college again, bleh. So if I don't look too narcissistic I'll probably do updates while I'm in class.

I have an obsession with harem pants now. God save us all. Went to a beach bonfire last night dressed like this and my friends actually approved.

So I sprained my ankle handing in a test on thursday, but that didn't stop me from wearing my new wedges to Hillcrest today. I told mom it was the only neighboorhood where people will appreciate them. I was right, so many gay guys asked where I got them and told me hor fab they were! now I have blisters like mad. Worth it.

Sorry about the lacking but it's been 100 degrees or more out every day and i've been living in a bikini. (a cute new purple one from Alloy!)

But this morning I woke up and my nose ring was gone.. vanished! I searched everywhere. So now I'm hoping that it's just tucked in my mattress and not lodged in my brain or something terrible. So I put my stud back in :/

Oh and I should've read my comments on the last post before washing that dress... it bled all over itself and now is oddly purple tinted. Not cool.

Pretty new dress from Forever 21. They really need to realise that 25" is way too short for a legitimate dress though.

Also, I got my nose pierced! I've been trying to for a week now but the place in town was out of rings and didn't get their new shipment in so I said screw it and got a stud for now. I love it though, it's so pretty :) But it's really uncomfy. I got my hair cut too but it was nothing drastic, just too-short bangs which I did not ask for.
Oo and today I had some things to return to F21 (i.e. some HUGE size small corsets.. damn you no boobs) so with my sweet "no cash refund just store cred" (lame) I bought a rose dress with built-in-boobs and tulip-ish fit. It's pretty rad :)

These pants are my new obsession. My mother's friend was getting rid of some old clothing and when I saw these in the pile I was so stoked. Vintage black flared pants with a rolled waistband... amazing. They look a lot better in person than in the picture. When I don't have my legs like that it looks like a skirt. My dad even asked if I was wearing a new dress. But they make me so happy. I even love the weird stares that I got in public.

After a break of a whole four days I started school again, this time summer school. Tonight was theatre. Uff, acting is not my forte.

But there was no gloom about it today because I was too excited. First, Suz from Weardrobe asked me to make outfits for some UO pieces, (3 amazing pieces that I'm reluctant to return back to her, but must) then Gilt.com Emails me. They tell me that one of my lovely reader's had added the link on the side of my page and made a purchase, which gifted me $25, so I also made a purchase. Now the girl whom I got the invite code from will be gifted $25 as well, I love how this site works... "Sharing and Caring" Barney style. I bought skull candles :)

Oh, and over the long weekend my family cleaned out our barn and I dug up all of my 90s big tee shirts! (including but not limited to the Lion King on Broadway shirt, years and years of self-painted summer camp shirts, and free shirts from my dentist featuring many smiling animals with perfect chompers) I also discovered that as a child I was shaped like a box and all of my little kid tee shirts are now too wide but too short for me. But I'm stoked to rock the long ones.

Do you ever browse Ikea and create your own dream house? I did today for a few hours :)

I love these shorts. I bought some 30"32" Levi's at the Salvation Army for three bucks then just cut them. They are going to be my new summer favorite! (sorry high waisted black shorts)
Wearing these studded booties with my blisters is more comfortable than any of my other shoes.. strange.
Also I thinned my bangs a few days ago so the short part wouldn't bunch up next to my cheek, but the red is almost gone.. so what color next??

New Love//Hate Relationships

With my two new amazing pairs of shoes. So I have been lusting the 80%20 melody boots and black and white creeper sneakers.. forever basically. Now, I have both, all within a week, amazing yes? Well, beyond the fact that sales are my best friends, these shoes might be the end of me.

The melody boots are so fantastical, with their perforated white exterior and their hidden wedge. But, the truth is the wedge shoves my poor toes into the pointy tip of the shoe causing terrible pain and eight new blisters, which is almost one for every toe :/ I stupidly wore them to school for their first outing so I was in writhing pain when I returned to my car, and I was bleeding! But I recall the love-hate relationship that I had with my fringe boots turned into a beautiful harmony once they were broken in. I'm going to be persistent with these shoes!

Then for my creepers, they arrived this morning and I instantly unwrapped them and wore them out. Well the bf and I wanted fast food for dinner (I was craving salty Wendy's fries but opted for the frosty instead) so we decided to walk around the block before indulging. Well about a hundred feet out my ankles were in pain, and I had socks on ad everything. Then I took my shoes off and walked on the rough gravel instead for the rest of our walk. Upon closer expectation (after Richie shouted "gross") I found that my ankles had large gashes in them and were oozing blood, not good. What surprises me is that these shoes are sneakers! The least betraying of all footwear! Well, I don't know what I'm going to do. For now I will wear sandals and let my feet heal before I make another attempt.

Wow, the sun is going to come up soon, I better get some rest. (this is my only week off of the summer, and I should be studying for finals)

So we got really bored this week and drove to Kmart, bought some clothing dye and tank tops and we tie dyed. :) But, in the wash everything bled purple! So they kinda look tacky now, but it's okay it's still cool, and now we know for next time. But I dyed some guys size large wifebeaters and made dresses :) Also, my 80%20 boots arrived and I wore them to school today, but they pinched the crap outta my toes and now I have 8 blisters. But when the blisters heal I think I'll be able to wear them just fine, and maybe walk on hot coals too. Then I recently ebayed a leather tank top with a lace back that I'm really stoked about wearing and some TUK creeper sneakers in black and white, so all of that should be arriving soon :)

So I was planning on leaving for the post office to pick up these babies at 3:30, but then I fell asleep. I woke up at 4:15 and threw on some makeup and rushed to the post before they closed at 5. There's always traffic getting into town so I got there at 4:50 thank goodness. I loooooove them, buuut they're still "off white" so they have a strange greenish tint. If anyone has the 80%20 melody boots in a white size 8-9 I will trade :) And you can have my cowboy tan boots tooo.. and love FOREVER!! :)

So I have been a terrible blogger because I've been over-run by school. But I'm taking time out of studying the Constitution and Federalist Papers to gush about my time at Bamboozle Left. It's a huge concert/festival that features a lot of popular bands the first day, and a lot of rawr rawr bands the next day, and 50 Cent for some unknown reason.

The bf and I just went to the second day because we really did not want to be overrun by Fallout Boy's biggest fans. (though I still wouldn't mind a peek at Pete Wentz) There weren't that many incredible bands the second day, but The Used was playing, and I was determined to see them, even if it was $60. I've been madly in love with The Used and Bert McCracken for.. forever. So it was a must-see. Sadly, 50 Cent arrived early, cutting their set time short :( Why do hardcore kids want to see 50 anyway? I heard he played because The Game has been showing him up. Well duh. But back to my gushing. We first watched Underneath The Gun, who was pretty sweet. Then we watched a few randoms until Ten Second Epic, and we saw Cassie Steele watching them too because they're from Canada. Then my bf got waaay starstruck and refused to go talk to her. Then we saw Shwayze which was awesome :) Next was Saosin who had mic problems or they would've been great too. Then I sat down because I thought TBS was next, then The Used got up to play, so I pushed my was as far forward as I could without getting drenched in beer.. and behold:

Then we saw Born of Osiris and I'd already seen Emmure (love) so we tried to see Taking Back Sunday but were soooo far back it wasn't worth it.
I swear I've taken outfit pictures I just need to get my camera out of the car and upload them. I've also found the perfect basic white pocket tee.... from Wet Seal believe it or not.

These Emma Cook for Topshop boots are $310 in the US but only
£150.00 on the British site. I know the exchange rate is terrible but that's lunacy and messed up. But I don't really like the creped effect anyways.

But Topshop is a tricky s.o.b. cause they're £ 60.00 on the British site which is roughly $85, but they're $125 on the US site! I'm boycotting. They should've never moved to the US cause not the British site doesn't ship here.
